Dragon Moth and crowned Grasshopper

Hey,

Here are this weeks pics, I know these by local names so forgive me if they are not as accurate as could be.
The first is a Crowned Grasshopper The second is a Dragon moth.

The names seem quite apt. I must say that your lighting of the subjects has improved.

That's why I picked a compound microscope; this stuff will scare my kids!

Nice pictures. If I may suggest something that may improve them even more: I think the lighting could be improved by using a suitable diffuser (which may help tone down the very bright reflections) and somehow getting the light to reflect off of the compound eyes to show more detail.
