Crystals from solution of B-Alanine, L-Glutamine, Vodka and Water

Here are a couple of crystal images from my latest chemical combination. B-Alanine and L-Glutamine were dissolved in Vodka and Water and allowed to dry without a coverslip on a slide. Image stacks using a 10X objective under polarized light, with a plastic wrapper used as a retarder.
