Tomato Seed Support Tissue

#1 Post by DonSchaeffer » Sun Mar 24, 2024 7:19 pm

The tomato seed itself is very difficult to cut, It's surprisingly hard and the fluid around it makes it hard to stabilize. The cells that surround the seed have a special interest because the seed is suspended in a slippery gelatin. The gelatin itself is not liquid. It has a flexible cell structure--somewhat more stable close to the hard seed structure and a thin suspension
