Yet as always our own Attenbrough of the microbe world strikes again with a lovely piece of wildlife footage.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Wow, another act that I have not seen before! I am amazed how fast she recovered.
How long did you stalk her, Bill? I would like to record rare scenes like this, but wonder how long it takes........

Thanks to all who took the time to watch and leave a comment. As to how long it took, not very long on this one. I tried to start the camera in time to record it going into the cyst state, but failed by just a minute or less. As I was recording a bit of video focusing on the cyst, I could see some movements within the cyst and decided to see what would happen if I added a drop of water to the edge of the cover slip. I was surprised at how quickly the rotifer recovered.

I enjoyed the video, the initial graphics, the narrative, and the music, and I had a smile on my face throughout the video. Thank you, Bill!!
