A mite

I think this is a mite. I found it in water from the saucer under an indoor potted plant. I think the mite was upside down on the slide. !0x objective.

Very nice brightfield, like the Pol as well.
Looks like it might be a mite. :)

Nice images, gekko! Just shows that you can find material for the microscopy hobby almost anywhere.

What beautiful clarity you achieve, simply superb gekko. It's interesting to see the critter from below too - so lifelike it almost makes me itchy.... :D
As was said above, just demonstrates what may be found with a little imagination. very nice. :)

Thank you, Rod! I think the brightfield is one of the very few images of mine that I was quite happy with.
