No I don`t think so, could be the best of your work today but tomorrow is another day. Crimes have been solved by not so good photographs.
I`m not aware that perfect exist, you would have to question how good is perfect. I like to look at every ones work when they can provide it, hobby or pro.

MI

Just trying to help here.

Your subject here and the moth in your other thread is too thick for effective imaging using a compound microscope. The light from your scope must pass through the subject to be seen well with your scope.

One of your moth images came close with the wings and the scales that came loose, you had a chance there to boost up the magnification and see some interesting things. Other thin parts of insects will work as well, but generally the body of insects this size do not.

Think thin and translucent. Select the proper subject and you will be able to produce great images with your scope and camera.

Nothing all that wrong with it other than the fact, video 1, 2, 3, etc. is not a water flea. I can`t think of the genus family but they are small fresh water shrimp.

Hello MicroInspector,

The last one remains a mystery to me. :?

The first few are a freshwater amphipod, Gammarus sp. I believe. (As Rodney said...freshwater shrimp)

One observation I make about this forum is that 99.9 percent of the members have positive views about what other members are doing AND trying to do, that includes me as well. Microscopy is not easy, I still admire what they did back 200 years ago, the old photos show it very well. Good photos are important for identification, So I will leave this lower jaw of teeth photo I took at 10-15x, with stereo scope.

Ok figure this out.
If you saw the movie called
Adobe strain.
The virus was being shaved very than to be in to a electron microscope
Now how can they shave a virus very thin when it is extremely
tiny?

I have never been involved is electron microscopy for organic samples... I have been involved with it in metallurgy years ago.. There are several kinds .. For solid metals an SEM is used.. I think for organics a TEM is called for.. I know that the subject has to be electrically conductive with the SEM...
