Beautiful!
This one seems to me to be a thin and extended crescent, very elegant.

This was a test in a way. Bought the eyepieces that I was asking about: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3547 they came with a Zeiss GFL Stand sold for parts at auction locally that I was hoping to use a couple of pieces of, though it turned out that there wasn't much I could use, so I decided to try the KF eyepiece out to see if I could salvage something.
Think the success of the image had more to do with the fact that I decided to set up parfocality by using a small section of slide film taped to a glass slide and focusing on the dots, rather than the stage micrometer I usually use.
The Kpl I was using before is a better eyepiece, certainly it is a bit heavier as it has more lenses, so I will be going back to it.

Very nicely done! Great "internal" detail.
