Two images of a dead dragon fly. First one is of a section of the wing with the 20X. Second one is of the body with the 40X.

I was surprised to see how the body hairs were in neat rows.

Perhaps he had a hair transplant and hence the neat rows?

The dragons were out in numbers today, glad you were able to capture a few images.

The dragons seem to be able to turn their eyes around very well and look at you, any ideas what they actually see when they zoom in on you?
I could have used a little more light in this photo.

Nice shots! The symmetry and "order" you find in nature under a microscope is so often intriguing.

Nice work Jim - as said the symmetry is always thought-provoking. Hmm... see what you mean about the dodgy transplant hkv! :D

Great images Jim. :)

Thank you John. Who would know an old dragon fly would go for hair transplants.
