Interesting - had not seen that before. Quite a useful effect. What resolution image did you use?

8,990 x 6,887 pixels. It is a stitch of 4 images in a quadrant. Each corresponding to 18 Mpixel. Then there is some waste at the corners due to to the stitching process which I had to crop off, but final result is then approx. 62 mega pixel in size.
