Oedogonium: Zoosporangium II

Plan 40x/0.65, 30µm, DIC, 5 image stack in Photoshop

This is from the same slide as the previous thread. The zoosporangium is a little larger, 30µm rather than 25µm but the main differences
are in both the surface texture and because they seem about to be released - notice the opening and drawing back of the envelopes.
Background was smoothed as it was very busy.
