Did you dry it? Did you put it in alcohol first?

Nope, directly into the molten/heated glycerin jelly. In fact, it was a total accident - I was busy shaking out pollen - only discovered the critter when I had the slide under the microscope :mrgreen:

Very nice! I wonder what the reds dots in its face are? Looks almost like nauplius eyes.

These are definitely ocelli (simple eyes).
