Thanks for this imageing, Jim t., I know crayfish 'molt'/ shed their exoskeleton periodically ( thus we have: 'soft shell crabs' on our menue!). So for me there is keen interest in the exterior structures of your image captures..that outtermost layer is so dynamic in terms of all going on in the crayfish growthcycle. charlie guevara

Thanks. First time I ever looked at a crawfish up close other than to eat them :)

Didn't know what to expect from the antenna but learned a bit more about their exoskeleton.
