I have been involved in amateur astronomy for about 20 years now, a great hobby, except for the frustrations of clouds and winter cold.
Microscopy is a new interest - got my "New to Me" scope about 20 days ago, and looking to learn everything I can - it is all unexplored territory. Glad to be here among the experienced and knowledgeable folks.

Not like me! I am also a learner.
Quite a few folks also were (are or) into astronomy. I was but agree, got tired of clouds, cold, and light pollution. Went from looking at very big things really far away to very small things really close
