A stunning shot of a bee wing.
Could I also pry for details. How have you mounted the wing? I assume in air, but any tricks or is it just on a silde?
Also your lighting is sublime....I would love to know how to do that....

Thanks for the feedback guys and thanks for noticing the lighting I used my trusted table tennis ball but with 2 small adjustments:
1. Used black plastic instead of glass slide to rest the wing on (in air not mounted)
2. I sanded down the bottom hole in the tabletennis ball so it sits flush with no stray light entering from below
I definitely want to look at getting brighter LED lights - my exposure times are long - 1 second with 200 ISO.
