Caddis Fly ... not micro but macro

#1 Post by georgetmacro » Sun Oct 01, 2017 8:16 am

Hi. This is not a microscope image obviously but one I took today with Nikon D300S and Tamron macro lens with extension ...used a small top mounted flash unit F22 at max synchro of 1/250. I just thought it might interest others who may also take part in macr0 photography. Of special interest to me is the very fine additions to the antennae. I don't know a great deal about insect taxonomy ... maybe somebody else can enlighten us.
