Hydra - Various magnifications and techniques

#1 Post by hkv » Mon Oct 02, 2017 7:02 pm

I was going through some sample jars I collected four weeks ago in a nearby pond. Attached to the surface inside of the glass jar, I discovered two Hydras close to each other. I sucked one of them up and tried to take some photos, but she refused to sit still despite my efforts to talk nice to her. I more or less blew that opportunity to get a decent shot. Shooting a stack proved near impossible. The next day I sucked the second Hydra up and added a drop of GA to slow her down. Here are a few shots.
