Blak ant, Olympus CH

Black ant ...

X4 standard Olympus CH objective ... photographed with no eyepiece in the tube. Camera is a Nikon D200 with a home-made microscope attachment. Lighting is not the best but all I have at the moment ... incident with the microscope underlight on and the condenser in lowest position. I have some better lighting on the way and am looking to source APO low power objective for this kind of stuff.
