Because i have a problem with my left foot which makes me house bound a friend has kindly sent me a big box of goodies which included a big selection of seeds which i have now mounted. 186 in total. There is also a small selection of Fibres. I am now going to mount a number of miscellaneous sample followed by a large number of hairs.

This so cool! I would love to see these slides in more detail. You guys in the UK take your slide making seriously!!

Right guys the preparation of these slides.
Clean slide and if using a ring then this is fitted with a quick dry glue, (Locktite super glue)
Once dry and solid then with a paint brush apply Gum Tragacapth (this dries clear.)
Then add your seeds and display them accordingly.
Then when all is dry a quick sweep over with hair spray, this gives it a silicone seal.
Finally apply your labels with the info of contents and apply the cover slip on top of the collar, therefore sealing the contents.

I have picked out 5 slides at random.
I'll come back with the photos as at the moment they are too large.
