Some shots of tartric acid I just made. A very old slide, it has deteriorated a bit after >35 years.

Polarized light with cheap movie theater 3d glasses, which are circular polarization filters.

Lomo MBU-4, Lomo 3.7x/0.11 and 8x/0.20 objectives, no eyepiece, Olympus E-500 camera (micro 4/3), ordinary household LED lamp, improvised setup.

Don't apologise for movie theater 3D glasses. That's what I use and they are fine.

>35 year old slide! You must have been doing this for some time.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes JimT, I started as a kid, but there were long periods in my life when I didn't even think about microscopes. Until a few weeks ago :)

Two more shots of tartric acid, a new slide. Next time I'll try stacking, my camera setup has a bit of a focusing issue.
