It is so awesome you were able to find water bears so easily and get some great photos and videos of them. So far I've managed to find one -- I need to start looking a bit more I should think! Thanks for sharing these images -- I look forward to seeing more.

You are so very welcome Pat! i've greatly enjoyed doing this and I'm having great fun with my new microscope. I don't even know what prompted me to buy it, it just popped into my head one night that I should have one and the next day I ordered it. I'm not sorry.Pat Thielen wrote:It is so awesome you were able to find water bears so easily and get some great photos and videos of them. So next I'm going to be driving about looking for different mosses and lichens to collect, re-hydrate, and look for water bears in. I'm hoping to find more than one kind, as well as record their behavior in detail, including laying eggs, and eggs hatching.

Good findings!
I've been trying to look for these myself.
