First attempt at stacking

#1 Post by Lilly Begonia » Fri Feb 23, 2018 4:00 pm

I came upon what I believe to be a juvenile water bear just now, and tried out my trial version of ZereneStacker on it. This water bear was a good deal smaller than the others I'd found, so I'm thinking it hatched from one of the eggs in my sample since I collected it.

And second water bear, stacked from 7 images. This one is much bigger than the first. An adult.

3rd water bear found on this slide:

And here's his head from 10 stacked images:

Nice stacks! Zerene stacker is a great program and can do some pretty impressive things! Do you remember if you used PMAx or DMap for stacking? I find for the most part PMax gives the better results, it depends on what you are stacking but from my experience I stick to PMax!

Thanks for sharing! Keep it up! :)

Ah! I had wondered about the difference between Dmap and PMax, thank you for the tip!

Good findings!

I've been trying to look for these myself. :)
