Specimen not treated, wet-mounted, bright-field, stacked with Helicon, Zeiss KF2, Neofluars 25x and 40x.

My wife collected them from Mombasa beach. The ones I measured were between 250 and 400 µm.

Thank you,hans , for these sweet 'forams' images. Wonderful and very important 'bottom dwellers' (benthic foraminifera), and floating ( planktonic foraminifera) forams..fantastic behaviors, complex life cycles at times...and often relatively huge protozoas! Charlie Guevara...nowhere near to marine environments,
