Stylonychia - I Think

Found this guy in a small pool of standing water from over watering an amethyst plant. 20X obk. About 120 Ums.

Both Tetmemena and Stylonychia are in the same subfamily: Stylonychinae. However--and forgive me for geeking out about ciliate phylogeny :D--recent work shows Tetmemena is actually less closely related to Stylonychia than it is to some other common stylonychine ciliates, such as Sterkiella, Steinia, and Onychodromus (Luo et al, 2017).

But yes...they're related. :D
