This cotton stem was taken from a prepared slide.
Looks very nice though.
Specimen taken at 40X magnification.

That looks like a good example of the advantages of stacking.
If you could upload one with the center in focus, I could show you how it would look when stacked.

A nice image taken straight through the eyepiece though - the blue is a lovely-looking stain - any idea what the stain is from the labelling?
