This image was taken using an Amscope 18 Megapixel (18MP) USB3.0 Digital Camera inserted directly into the Olympus BH-2 trinocular head. It was taken through an Olympus 100x SPlanApo objective, and is a stack of 6 exposures.
I'm looking forward to publishing two new resources for identification of veterinary parasites. One of the resources will be a website (http://www.veterinaryparasitology.com) designed to help clinicians, researchers, and hobbyists identify common veterinary parasites. The second resource will be a low-cost (~$5-10) digital parasitology atlas, containing all of the images from the website, which can be downloaded and used without internet access. Together, they will be called "The Monster Hunter's Guide to: Veterinary Parasitology." Stay tuned for more information.
