Tylenol and vitamin C POL

#1 Post by Radazz » Thu Mar 22, 2018 10:05 pm

Testing a new camera. Almost twice the resolution compared to the DSLR, and no mirror movement.
I can almost capture what I see!
Nikon Labophot 2
Tylenol/vitamin C mix dissolved in alcohol and air dried cold
Eight image stack 10x 0.5x adapter Chinese HY-2307 camera direct to sd card.

Once I get it all figured out, I’ll publish a review.

HY-2307 camera - Once I get it all figured out, I’ll publish a review.
When you do I'll look forward to your review and more images.

Polarized is very nice.

Very nice second image.

Should be very useful capturing critters that refuse to pose!

"oblacity" ?

I think it means "amount of oblate-ness" as in flattening of spheres.

Beautiful image, anyway !!

More like oblique-ness.

Actually I shift the condenser chamber to eclipse the edge of the field of view.
Like using an offset oblique stop.
Try sticking your finger between the illuminator and the condenser and wiggle it around to see what I’m talking about.

Then; with the greatest respect; either 'obliqueness' or 'obliquity' would have been more appropriate.

... 'oblacity' is not a common word; but I believe I have only ever seen it used in reference to squashed spheroids.

.
P.S. regardless of this pedantic digression ... I love the photo, and admire your technique.
