Bryozoa
Like to share an older photo I have taken from a pond. It is a Bryozoa individual with its ciliated feeding organ (lophophore).
Re: Bryozoa
This is for me a quite elegant organism you encountered and imaged. Great observation, thank you for this post. Charlie Guevara...I last encountered a bryozoan years ago...if you can believe the older books...these organism can grown into dense and heavy matts of bryozoans.

Re: Bryozoa
Thank you Charlie & Sunshine.
The photo is also some years old and I never had the luck to spot again. Somehow they are aliens with their tentacles very fascinating of coarse.

In german language the trivialname is "Moostierchen" = moss animal. Guess because these organism can form such large colonies, looking then like moss matts?charlie g wrote:these organism can grown into dense and heavy matts of bryozoans
