Was happy to find some haematococcus pluvialis in a small rainwater pond. Now more and more rotifers occure...

Both are very nice videos but the “Zackenkrone Radertierchen – DIK 16x” in the lower left corner is distracting.

Beautiful DIC, extraordinary clarity.
Watched at 1080 on YouTube site - reduced page size slightly - had to wait for it to load, it was well worth it.

Miss-read the title at first, thought Rotifer hunting was an adjective! This was before my first coffee so I have an excuse. :)

Glad that you enjoyed the video 75RR & einman.

Meanwhile all the flagellated Haematococcus pluvialis cells have disappeared. Many rotifer still alife beside the red palm cells of Haematococcus pluvialis. Does anybody have experience how to grew the flagellated cells again?
Maybe best to let the pot gets dry & then again some rainwater?
