I like this little fellows :-)
Thanks for sharing.

Post scriptum: is the background noise made by cicadas? So it must be hot in Australia right now?

Nice clear video - looks like they're actually under a moss-leaf perhaps, rather than inside a stem.

Good quality video too.

No, any sounds would be from me as I was close to the camera when filming.

Thanks, you're the expert on botany, compared to me at least so I'll take your word on it.

Nice video! Looks rather surreal, as if they are hanging on to the trunk of a massive tree.

Agree 'cicadas' are just background recording hiss.

Ingenious attempt to eavesdrop on the rotifer's conversation though! ;)

Speaking of organisms feeding inside plants, we have the pitcher plants growing in this part of the south but they are very much on the decline because of habitat destruction of mostly man made events. I took several samples of a little water located at the lower base of the pitcher plants and viewed several types of micro-organisms on the larger side with my stereo scope.
I`m not sure what organisms were available at higher magnifications; but they are very interesting plants that and can grow in ideal conditions.
