Bicosoeca lacustris

Here is a foto of a colorless, housing-resident flagellate belonging to the Chrysophyceae. It is probabely Bicosoeca (synonym Bicoeca), through the elongated elliptical case it could be Bicosoeca lacustris.

Another excellent image! DIC really gives it a three dimensional appearance.
