What do you think are the numerous tiny round non-white dots all across the slide? very fine sand? they seem to be of size <5 micrometer?

I think they may be a thin coating of bacteria - mostly visible in DICWhat do you think are the numerous tiny round non-white dots all across the slide? very fine sand? they seem to be of size <5 micrometer?
