Nice detail in those images.
choosing how deep to go and what feature is significant inevitably affects the final image. Not always an easy call.
Apart from saving on shutter activations (no small thing as they do add up),Fewer well-selected images are better than 25 1m steps.

these are fantastic - i really like the last couple with the colourful spikes on the diatoms.
