Coupe longitudinal tige de nénuphar

Hello everyone.
A small observation of a longitudinal cut water lily stalk.
Staining with safranin.
Freehand cut with razor blade.

Excellent images. Nice context in the first one and great detail of the trichomes in the others. Well done.

Hi seb - a lovely set of images my friend, your usual high-standard!
Really interesting to see those branched trichomes; I especially like image #1.

Very impressed too with how closely they resemble the reference-image linked by MichaelG - your stacking has really brought-out a lot of detail seb, nicely done old chap!

Keep 'em coming seb, your sets are always great to explore.
