Lepocinclis and a couple of Diatoms

#1 Post by Grahame » Sun Jul 29, 2018 8:48 am

Hi folks,
A few images from the last couple of days.
From a slow moving fresh water environment.

Very pretty images. Are the diatoms mounted? the background is so neat and plain

Hi Hobbyst46,
They are cut from their original background in Photoshop and the background replaced.
CA and other fringing etc sort of fixed.
Lepocinclis is a stack.
All critters alive in an "aquarium" I made on a slide.
Mounting diatoms or anything this small is well beyond my skill set.
I'm in awe of those that do :)
