Here is a image of a moss I collected and am working on identifying.
Check out the multiple protrusions (papillae) on each leaf lamina cell!
Magnification is 400X
This was taken using a Nikon Labophot with trinocular head, CF plan apo 40x objective, Martin Microscope adapter, and a Canon EOS Rebel T5.

Excellent, do you have any more images for us? I'd like a look at the rest of the moss - very interesting to see it's other characters possibly for an ID?
Here's a slight manipulation to hopefully bring-out the papillae a little more.... Interesting to see moss here - more images please!

Very good image, I am quite fond of moss, I once collected it to give a grassy landscape look to small bonsai plants. Your post has made me curious as to what flower petals look like at the microscopic level too.
