Crikey!! That's as nice an image of a nematode as any I've ever seen! Wonderful, awesome work there, my friend, time to hand out an Uber Geek Award for you: :ugeek:

How'd you get it to hold still? Or would that be incriminating information?
Cheers,

Many thanks KurtM, most kind

Honest officer I was just passing by when I noticed this nematode twitching less than usual,
a few minutes later it began to curl up and then stopped twitching completely except for its tail,
which would twitch with maddening regularity every time I was nearing the end of the series of photographs needed to complete a stack.
So in answer to your question, no I did not murder it. There was however murder in my heart. ;)

If it helps you sleep better at night, nematodes have a long history of putting murder into the heart of the people they meet. It is almost inconceivable that any jury would ever convict you...

Still, it's always nice to know you have a gentle heart. It certainly helps me sleep better at night.
