Great images , thank you for showing!

How does DIC combine with stacking? I think DIC is said to emphasize the structure detail of one single layer. This should be an advantage for stacking. What is your impression? Do you need more images in a stack?

Thanks MicroBob

DIC stacks well in my experience. I believe it imparts a shallower depth of field so it tends to require more images and hence larger stacks.
It can therefore be a little frustrating when the subject moves again (having finally paused for a short rest) just before you finish taking the final remaining images to complete the stack.
