Parascaris mitosis

#1 Post by Aslan » Thu Nov 15, 2018 7:19 pm

I tried posting this earlier but it seemed to disappear. Anyway, here is a photo of Parascaris mitosis I took recently. I am setting up my SM microscope for photography. To that end I replaced the incandescent bulb with a comercial microscope LED light source. This was taken using a Canon T1i.

That looks great Aslan, did you stain it? Do you have information on the LED bulb you used?

No, it is one of the prepared slides I have in my classroom.

It is a prepared slide. The LED came from retrodiode.com
