The elusive Amoeba

After 2 years of looking through pond water samples I finally located an amoeba proteus today. Are they really so elusive?

Nice shot! Like yourself I always wanted to find one and then...I found a lot..just depends on where you look.

Nice catch! I myself have not seen one in quite a long time.
