Marine Diatom

Plan 40x/0.65, DIC, 130µm length, 12 image stack in Photoshop, marine, Alborán sea

Have not identified it yet, if anyone has a suspect do tell.

How beautiful 3D rendering of the diatom! Was it caught near shore? or in a net?

Thanks Hobbyst46,

My samples tend to consist of alga which I then lightly tap on a slide, it usually dislodges something of interest.
