Thanks Radazz. Yes, stacked and stitched. The Zeiss 63x/1.4 has an extremely shallow depth of field - seems even more so with DIC

Here is a Table from Fundamentals of Light Microscopy and Electronic Imaging by Douglas B. Murphy that shows how thin it can be.
