Hi 75' - superb images, and as Kurt says, makes me want more!
Is it possible that the 'bacteria trails' are strands of it's ectoplasm? I'd love to see several images with perhaps some taxonomic details, interesting to know what type it may be. Lovely images, full of interest even though I'm really a 'plant man'!

Keep them coming my friend, they're excellent! :D :D

Hi 75RR,
thank you for posting these beautiful images. There are lots of pictures of foraminifera shells but pictures of living foraminifera are comparatively rare.

Have added a closeup of the area that I believe shows that they are multiple images of slow moving 'bacteria'. A sort of time-lapse of their movement.

Have duplicated the image and placed the copy at 180 degrees to show both negative and positive bias to help in viewing the tracks.
