hi
my microscope is leitz diavert with phase contrast.
camera: sony nex-5n.
camera system :leitz variable lens+0.32x lens
LED: Nichia NVSW219B
my equipment have “blue sport" problem.

Note: I had not realised that you were using a complete torch [flashlight] as the illuminator: I thought you were just using a Cree LED to replace the tungsten bulb.
That may possibly help explain the "blue spot" problem ... could you please post sketches or photos to show what exactly comprises your illuminator.

Hi,MichaelG
This is my new DIY light source.

If I Open aperture diaphragm (on 402condenser)when I use 100x objective, blue sport disappear.
But many details also disappear. (Different with the manual said.maybe the light too strong)
So I always close aperture diaphragm.blue sport appear.
