Not sure if this is one or two diatoms
Don't think the 3/4 view helps the ID
Possibly Stauroneis sp. ?

Magnificent and surprising image ! no dots are seen - perhaps an effect of the stacking ?
IMHO this is a single diatom. I have seen similar "constructions", although of other diatoms, but never in such clarity and beauty! the DIC gives it special flavor.
It seems to differ from many other Stauroneis photos in that the ends are rounded, elliptical and not "lanceolate" pointed with small lobes.

It does seem to have a woven pattern (basket weave) rather than punctae!
I think the angle is probably the cause rather than the stacking. See single image:
