They look cool
I'm using a celestron microscope with 4, 10, 40, 100 times magnification. Eye pieces are 10 and 20.

Did you also watch the sample drying out after a while? Usually such is very usefull respectively for the high n.A. Objectives to catch details of the organells & internals.

Never had the chance. Agree that the closer to the cover slip the subject is the better. There was still a lot of water in this one when my second and last battery ran out.


These are two new ones I bought not long ago that do not hold a charge for long, most likely from a quality control rejected lot.

If anyone has ever wondered what happens to those lots that fail the quality control tests - well, they end up in either the third world or on Ebay
