Another inhabitant of the waterhole.

Not sure if it is Actinophrys sol or Actinophrys salsuginosa

Great video and picture ! They both compliment each other well. One of these days I'm going to attempt some focus stacking.

great video and photo! It really is incredible what fantstic life forms nature deemed suitable!
For the imaging of such tiny yet finely structured objects a 63/1,4 is really great.

It really is incredible what fantstic life forms nature deemed suitable!
Agree. To me, life in a drop of water always reminds me of the crowd in the bar in the original Star Wars movie! Much more interesting than fuzzy stars.
