What an image 75'!

Such detail, this DIC is pretty impressive! Very nicely-done old chap.

75', this may be a stupid question, but what is needed for a start with DIC, re my BX40?

Here are a couple of articles worth reading.

The first link is shorter and gives a clear explanation of DIC and as a bonus uses an Olympus BX system to explain the components: https://www.microscopyu.com/pdfs/Lassle ... 9-2006.pdf

This one is from Olympus and basically says yes you can and gives you a list of what you need: https://www.olympus-lifescience.com/en/ ... iguration/

Many thanks mintakax and Wes

I think it is probably small amounts of the red pigment phycobilin
