Nice catch. Moving at a respectable speed compared to the ones I've seen.

Terrific video. :) I'm not great with amoebae, but it seems to be a dactylopodid (Mayorella, Korotnevella, etc.) Broad cell with conical pseudopods, nucleus has a strong nucleolus.

Both are heterotrophic flagellates. :D The narrower one is a cryptomonad, I think (rows of ejectisomes are visible). I can't make out what the other one is, but its flagellum pops into view from time to time.

It's my first amoeba, I've never seen such creatures before :lol:

Thanks for the clarification Bruce. From now on I am going to identify everything as "organism" :D
