tiny worm in soil

Hey guys, i found this tiny worm in the soil of indoor tree
just wondering if someone knows what it might be? i couldnt google it

it was like 5-7 mm long

Sorry I cant help with the ID, but I'm curious how you came about finding it ? Did you see it in the soil and pick it out to examine ?
