First Photo of a Microbe
First Photo of a Microbe
First time I've seen anything like this in realtime. Was totally caught up in this. Taken with my Olympus BH-2 with a trinocular head, polarized, Panasonic Lumix G7.

Re: First Photo of a Microbe
HI - it looks like Chydorus sp , not a Daphnid - Nice photo.
There are lots of books on Freshwater aquatic organisms with keys on the web for free and also for sale.
Some references online
(1959) W.T. Edmonson (ed) Fresh Water Biology 2nd edition, John Wiley. NY pg 420-507 - read online version free includes keys to different invertebrates.
https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/envir ... _draft.pdf
Search Google and for Cladocern keys and you should find lots, also search for Aquatic microorganisms - I have found several PDF books you can
download.
